Book now and enhance your Legal Research Skills by attending one of the planned library skills workshop.  Whether you are a returning student wanting to ‘freshen-up’ your rusty legal research skills or a new student who has never opening Lexis in anger these workshops will help you!   Find out more here

We have vacancies for three part-time student Library Assistants in the Library for 2016/17

Working in the Library will give you opportunities to enhance your legal research and customer care skills, which could improve your CV!

  • Hours 11 hours per week working on a three week rota as part of a team covering evenings and weekends
  • Pay in the region of £8.10 per hour

Welcome to the Library

The Library offers a wide range of print and electronic resources.  Electronic resources can be found via the the webpages.

We subscribe to all the major legal databases (including LexisLibrary, Westlaw and Lawtel) and these can be accessed from any PC with an internet connection. To access them simply click on the name of the database from this webiste  and use your usual University username and password.

If you want to brush up your legal research skills there are various options available to you in the form of the @Skills section of the webiste these include i-Guides a series of 10 minute online tutorials.  Training resources can be found here
